What the work involves
Our campaigns mix local SEO with AI visibility work. One week you might be mapping suburb rankings for a pool company, the next you're checking how ChatGPT describes a client.
Clients are real local businesses: trades, retailers, professional services. The work shows up in their phones ringing, which keeps it honest.
Reporting matters here. Every client sees a plain-English report each month, so clear writing and clean data are part of the job.

Working from the Sunshine Coast
Our HQ is in the Glasshouse Mountains, at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, with clients spread across the Coast and further afield.
Most of the businesses we work with are local, so the campaigns connect to places you already know.
When roles open, each listing will spell out where the work happens and what days look like. We'd rather tell you the specifics then than guess at them now.

How do I apply when there are no open roles?
Email customercare@smart-local.com.au with what you've done and what you want to do. Links to work you're proud of beat a long CV. We keep every email and check the list when a role opens.
Do you take juniors or students?
Sometimes the right person matters more than the years. Tell us what you can do and show us something you've made. We can't promise anything, but we read everything.
Can I work remotely?
It depends on the role. Some work suits remote days and some needs time at the Glasshouse Mountains HQ. Each listing will say what applies, and we won't pretend otherwise.
When and where are roles posted?
New roles go up on this page first, then on our social channels. If you've already emailed us, you're on the list we check before anything is advertised.
