How we work, step by step
Growth shouldn't depend on luck. Every Smart Local campaign follows the same structured path: audit what you have, decide where the profit is, build the assets, measure what they produce, then expand what works. You can see where you are in the process at any point.
Why we work this way
Most wasted marketing budget comes from skipping the audit. Agencies start spending before they know where leads are leaking, so they pour money into the wrong channel.
We start by finding the leaks: where prospects drop out of your funnel and which nearby competitors are picking up the work you should be winning.
Then we focus the budget. Instead of broad campaigns, we target the services and suburbs that make you the most profit per job.
And because everything runs month to month, the process has to keep proving itself. Each report shows what the last month's work produced.
The five steps
1. Audit
We review your rankings, map placements, website, profiles and past ad spend to find exactly where leads are dropping out and where competitors are taking your share.
2. Strategy
Together we map your most profitable services and suburbs, then plan the pages, signals and campaigns to win them. No broad, waste-heavy targeting.
3. Build
We build the assets: fast mobile-friendly pages, suburb landing pages, an optimised Google Business Profile and the trust signals that back them up.
4. Measure
Call tracking and form monitoring show which suburbs and keywords actually generate revenue. You see verified calls and leads in a plain-English monthly report.
5. Expand
Once a suburb or service is winning, we push the same play into the next one. The data tells us where to double down and what to drop.
The same process, shaped to your patch
The steps stay the same, but the targets change with your market. A Caloundra physio and a Brisbane roofer get the same process pointed at very different suburbs and searches.
We run this process from our Glasshouse Mountains HQ for businesses across the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and beyond, backed by 20+ years of experience.
Because we know these areas firsthand, the suburb and service mapping in step two starts from real local knowledge instead of guesswork.
Questions we get asked
How long does the audit stage take?
The audit, competitor review and suburb profit mapping are usually finished within the first 7 to 14 business days. You see the findings before we build anything.
Will you rebuild my website or work with what I have?
It depends on what the audit finds. If your current site is fast and converts, we improve it. If it's holding you back, we'll recommend new landing pages built for local lead generation.
What do I actually receive each month?
A structured monthly report showing verified calls, lead forms and the work completed on your campaign, written in plain English.
What happens if the results aren't there?
You're free to leave. There are no lock-in contracts, so the process has to keep earning its place every month. That pressure is deliberate.
